Flatout Flatbread- Product Review

June 15, 2010 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love

Check this out! While shopping at the grocery store last week I found a new product that I decided to try and it was definitely worth it. There were a couple of different flavors and I chose the 5-Grain Flax. The flatbread is similar to a pita but it lays out flat and this version is shaped like an 8 so it folds easily in the middle. I would definitely purchase these again and with only 100 calories it makes a great addition to your sandwich. They also have 8 grams of fiber to keep you full throughout the day.

There are several ideas on the back of the package to use these with such as making a grilled panini, using it for a pizza crust or even ripping it apart to use with a dip as an appetizer. Next time you are at the store check these out. We made some delicious buffalo chicken sandwiches using the flatbread.
Here’s how we made our sandwiches:
*Grill chicken
*Grill flatbread for a minute to get warm and toasty
*Add Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce
*Place cheese and chicken on bread, we added spinach to ours
*Fold and Enjoy!!
