Fresh garlic is absolutely delicious and I love to incorporate it into a meal in this easy way. I saw this recipe from The Pioneer Woman and changed it up a bit. These are SO GOOD!!
Ingredients
1 pkg. FROZEN ROLLS (12 count)
1/4 cup BUTTER, melted
3 cloves GARLIC, finely minced
Coarse SALT
Grease a cast iron skillet and a 9 in. round cake pan. Put 7 of the rolls in the skillet and the rest in the cake pan. Cover and let thaw and rise for several hours. If you didn’t do this in time, read the package instructions for quick rising the rolls.
After rolls have risen, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush the tops of the rolls gently with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until rolls are a deep golden brown. Meanwhile add the garlic to the remaining butter. When the rolls come out of the oven, brush the top with the garlic-butter mixture.
*If you don’t have a cast iron skillet, you could use 2 cake pans and put 6 rolls in each pan.
We love these with any pasta dish, especially this one.
