I love our Wednesday specials this month because I am always trying to find healthy, easy recipes that taste good. When I tried this recipe a couple of weeks ago my husband said, “This is the BEST chicken ever, can we have this for dinner at least once a week?!??!” That is how you know recipe is good when your family loves it and you won’t believe how easy it is. The picture is deceiving making it look like just plain chicken but it is so moist. You could easier turn this chicken into sandwiches or use it for tacos or something that calls for shredded chicken.
Mama’s Italian Chicken
4 Boneless, Skinless chicken breast halves
1 pkg. dry Italian Dressing mix
1 can chicken broth
Place chicken in greased slow cooker (or use a slow cooker bag). Sprinkle with salad dressing mix. Pour chicken broth over the top. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low heat for 8-10 hours. Makes 4 servings. Serve with noodles or rice.
