Chocolate Fondue

February 9, 2011 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love
Nothing says I love you like chocolate.  This is one of the best fondue recipes I have found.  You can dip pretty much anything your heart desires into this.   Often times when my group of girlfriends gets together for a movie night we will add this to the mix.  Here are some things we have dip into the chocolate fondue: fruit (strawberries, raspberries, bananas, pineapple), marshmallows, pretzels, potato chips (weird but very yummy) , graham crackers, angel food cake, pound cake, cheesecake bites, etc.  This list could go on and on.  Never hurts to try it.  I have a fondue pot but I imagine you could do this in a small sauce pan with very low heat.  Enjoy this delicious recipe with someone you love this Valentine’s Day.

12 oz. package chocolate chips or other chocolate
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
10 large marshmallows
Place chocolate and milk into fondue pot.  Turn dial on pot to warm. Stir until chocolate is melted. Stirring constantly, add marshmallows until melted.  Gradually add whipping cream.  Yields 3 cups.
Enjoy!
