It’s that time of year for…. ASPARAGUS! Having personally picked fresh asparagus from the ground to complete a meal, I can tell you that nothing compares. Unfortunately in order to get it at its freshest we only have a short few months when it’s at its peak. Here at Crumbs and Chaos we have featured it a time or two in our Quick Asparagus Lasagna, Garlic Balsamic Asparagus, and grilled along side Salmon. This week we are featuring 5 asparagus recipes from around the web, so hurry and enjoy this vegetable while it is still in season!
Asparagus with Maple Mustard Glaze from Six Sisters’ Stuff
Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks from How Sweet It Is
Roasted Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus Bundles from Skinny Taste
Spring Sandwich: Boiled Egg, Seared Asparagus, and Pickled Onion from The Kitchn
Asparagus and Pea Soup from Tartelette

Yummmers. I started growing asparagus in my garden three years ago, and this is the first year I have harvested it. I’ve got two stalks blanched and frozen and waiting for more 🙂 hehe
