My assignment for this month was Gluten Free A to Z Blog. Judee has a passion for tasty food and cooking. Her blog is full of easy and nutritious recipe that are sure to delight your family (whether you eat gluten free or not!). I’d also love to try Quick & Easy Vegetarian Rice and Black Beans and Marvelous Mini Quiches.
We love a good salsa around these parts – Garden Fresh Salsa, Oven Roasted Salsa, Black Bean and Corn Salsa, Simply Delicious Salsa (with avocado) or Mango and Black Bean Salsa – I totally jumped at the chance to add another salsa recipe to our repertoire…sun-dried tomato. Salsa is such an easy and friendly little snack, this one came together quickly and the sun-dried tomatoes and raisins bring an interesting array of flavors to this delicious salsa.
- 8 SUN-DRIED TOMATOES
- 1/4 cup RAISINS
- 2 medium YELLOW TOMATOES
- 1/2 cup CILANTRO
- RED PEPPER FLAKES
- JUICE OF 1 SMALL LIME
That salsa sounds great. I’ve never cook with sun dried tomatoes that weren’t packed in oil before. Now I know what to do with them.
It sounds really tasty – I’d never have thought of putting raisins in before.
This sounds great with the sun dried tomatoes!
This would be an awesome Salsa with the Sun Dried Tomatoes.
It is fun cooking with you in the SRC!

Raisins huh? that sounds unique 🙂 I may have to try this!
My husband makes salsa all the time, and I think adding sun-dried tomatoes sounds like a great idea. I’ll definitely suggest it to him next time. I’m stopping by from SRC but be sure to stop by Seasonal Potluck this month. We have peas AND rhubarb link parties open! We’d love if you’d share any recipes you may have http://bit.ly/H9XJGB
Wow, can’t wait to try this 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Wow that sounds different and very tasty.
Yum! You picked a wonderful recipe. The salsa sounds amazing!
I just love the flavor of sundried tomatoes. This must’ve made one heck of a dip!
i’m with you – salsa is a great snack. i can only imagine how sun dried toms would amp up the flavor. I like putting them in my mac and cheese for a tomatoey kick to the face.
Happy SRC reveal from a group D Member!
Beautiful! What a unique version of salsa. Love the flavors.
I am a big fan of sun dried tomatoes, I add them to breads and pastas but making a sauce seems like a more delicious idea
