I’m always game for a hot steaming bowl of soup, especially as the temps on the thermometer keep dropping. Our family has been a fan of Panera Bread for a long time. I have found their food to be consistent time after time. It’s great to know that if we stop at Panera while traveling, we are going to find the same delicious food that we find at the Panera near our house. My favorite soup is (and always has been!) the broccoli cheddar soup…I could eat that every.single.week.
Panera Bread uses the freshest, best tasting ingredients available to make their sought after bowls of goodness. I learned a few things, like what a pear tomato is and all about thumbelina carrots, from their Soup Stories on their new soup website. You can also find out what soups they are serving each day of the week and learn more about how Panera gives back.
With the wide variety of options, there are about 7 different soups to choose from on any given day. I enjoyed the ‘You Pick Two’ – a Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT sandwich and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. My little lunch date had a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup with French Baguette. Both were delicious, as usual, and we completed our lunch with a Red Velvet Crinkle Cookie (it was the perfect ending!).
She had the best time dipping small pieces of her bread into the bowl of soup. I mean, what’s a great bowl of soup without a nice bread for dipping?
Disclaimer: As part of the DailyBuzz Tastemaker program, I was given a Panera gift card to sample their soups. I’ve told you what I really think of them!
