Last week in my Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake post I mentioned always getting coffee drinks together with a friend of mine. Well, that was how we would start the day. For lunch we would head over to Taco Bell every other week or so, I would always order the same thing (I wasn’t that adventurous back then). It’s been quite awhile since I have spent much time at Taco Bell. But when I was asked if I would try and review the Cantina Steak Burrito, I jumped at the chance. Mexican food is one of my absolute favorite things…ever.
From Taco Bell’s new Cantina Menu, this is quite the burrito. First of all, it’s grilled on the outside – remember their grilled stuft burrito? It has that same crispness on the outside. One bite reveals a flavor explosion you’re sure not to forget. Flavorful cilantro rice, black beans, fresh made guacamole and pico de gallo topped with very tender steak and finished with creamy cilantro dressing. Amazing! You can also get chicken or veggie if that’s more your thing.
I was impressed by the size of this burrito – huge would be one way to describe it. At $4.99 you are getting your money’s worth out of this meal. It would definitely be enough to satisfy my husband (and he can eat a lot!).
This burrito meets the two requirements for a stellar meal at my house – filling and delicious. Being able to enjoy the fresh bright flavors of Latin cuisine at Taco Bell is a major plus. Did I mention you can add on chips, fresh guacamole and a drink for a couple of bucks? Yes, I said fresh guacamole. So next time you’re in the mood for quick, easy and flavorful lunch or dinner, may I suggest stopping at Taco Bell? You won’t be disappointed.
This post is sponsored by Taco Bell. See how great our steak is when you try the new Cantina Steak Burrito. Because when it comes to a great steak burrito, it’s all about the steak.
