Around our house, we like small bites. They’re easy to share and you get to try a little of everything. After all, the holidays = hanging around and enjoying good food together, so whether it’s almost time for the turkey or you’re wanting to add something new to your next appetizer spread this December, I’ve got you covered. This creamy spread is perfect for your favorite cracker.
Tangy goat cheese combined with cream cheese, dried cranberries and cherries, crunchy pecans and savory green onions…easy, flavorful and sure to be gone in no time at all. So you’d better have double the ingredients on hand to whip up another batch. What’s your favorite quick and easy appetizer to serve around the holidays?
This Cranberry Pecan Spread is an easy holiday appetizer and comes together in just minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. HONEY GOAT CHEESE (or plain)
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE, room temperature
- 2 Tablespoons DRIED CRANBERRIES, finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons DRIED CHERRIES*, finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons PECANS, finely chopped
- 3 GREEN ONIONS, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and cream cheese. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Serve chilled or at room temperature with crackers or pretzel crisps.
Notes
*You could use all cranberries instead of adding cherries.
