You guys, fall is {actually} here! Did you hear me? I said, FALL IS HERE!! I have been so stoked by the weather here in Southwest Michigan the past week or two, it has been absolutely gorgeous. I love having to turn on the fireplace first thing in the morning for a bit to warm up the living room and then go out in the afternoon later wearing a short sleeve t-shirt. I seriously can’t get enough.
And you know what else I love about fall? All things PUMPKIN!! Today’s post is dedicated to it in more ways than one. How about 5 ways to enjoy pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice? That’s right, 5 pumpkin spice treats just for you! ‘Tis the season for seasonal flavors to hit the grocery store shelves, from cookies and seasonal baking items to candies and coffee creamer, I love the holidays. - 1 cup MILK
- 2 Tablespoons MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS (1 oz.)
- ½ Tablespoon PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
- 2 Tablespoons INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CREAMER
- Dash of SALT
- WHIPPED CREAM (optional)
- PUMPKIN PIE SPICE (optional)
- Heat milk in a microwave safe measuring cup for 1½ minutes.
- Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Stir in pumpkin puree, creamer and a dash of salt.
- Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice if desired.
- Optional - if you like a frothy hot chocolate, use an immersion blender after everything is mixed together before pouring into the mug.
- 1 12-oz. can REFRIGERATED BISCUITS (10 count)
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE
- 2 Tablespoons INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CREAMER
- ¼ cup POWDERED SUGAR
- 1 Tablespoon INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER
- 1 Tablespoon BUTTER, room temperature
- ½ cup POWDERED SUGAR
- PUMPKIN PIE SPICE for garnish
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot.
- Fry dough until golden, about 30-60 seconds on each side. Remove to a paper towel lined baking sheet to cool. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Once cool, use the end of a straw to poke a hole in the side of each donut. Fill with filling mixture.
- Frost and garnish with a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add creamer and keep beating until the mixture is smooth again. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Put this mixture in a piping bag or baggie with the corner cut off to fill donuts.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, butter and creamer.
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE, room temperature
- ½ cup SOUR CREAM
- 4 Tablespoons PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
- ¼ cup INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CREAMER
- ½ cup SPICE CAKE MIX (dry)
- Beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Chill at least 30 minutes before serving with apple slices, pretzels or graham crackers.
- 1 box FUDGY BROWNIE MIX (9x13 size)
- 1 15-oz. can PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
- ½ cup INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CREAMER
- ½ teaspoon PUMPKIN PIE SPICE
- 1½ cups POWDERED SUGAR
- ½ cup BUTTER, room temperature
- 2 Tablespoons INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil.
- Use a mixer to combine brownie mix, pumpkin puree, ½ cup creamer and pumpkin pie spice.
- Spread in prepared pan and bake for 21-23 minutes. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
- Beat together frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies and cut into squares.
- ½ cup OATMEAL
- 1 cup WATER
- 1 Tablespoon PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
- 1 Tablespoon INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT PUMPKIN PIE SPICE CREAMER
- Additional sweetener if desired
- Place oatmeal and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Turn the heat to low and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in pumpkin and creamer. Cook 2 minutes more.
- Add additional sweetener, if desired, and serve immediately.
