Growing up pb&j was a popular lunch choice, even now making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on occasion feels comforting and familiar. Taking a fond childhood favorite and turning it into dessert? You bet I did. And you won’t believe how simple it is. No bake desserts for the win.
This easy dessert starts with a graham cracker pie crust. Layer in some of your favorite jam or preserves and then the peanut butter goodness – thick, creamy and just sweet enough. Chill for a while in the fridge. Finally, top it all off with chopped peanuts and fresh berries to match your jam and you’re ready to serve. I’m thinking Valentine’s dessert for your favorite peanut butter loving crowd. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, need ideas for a special meal? How about chicken alfredo and chocolate fondue?
