So, let’s talk about holiday desserts. When I’m planning a fun, festive meal, I want it to end with a little pizzazz and be on point in the seasonal flavor department. In this case, you choose the flavor you want to enjoy and make the parfaits to your liking. And they’re so simple to make!
Greek God’s Yogurt has recently introduced a few chocolate flavors to their already fabulous line up – Chocolate Mocha, Chocolate Cherry and Chocolate Strawberry. Gotta love a company that gives you a reason to eat chocolate for breakfast! 😉 Greek God’s Yogurt also makes a delicious snack or dessert (remember Yogurt Cake and No Bake Cranberry Yogurt Pie? Deeeeelicious!) Anyway, today we’re talking easy desserts and we’re using their chocolate yogurt to help us with that. Parfaits are a simple, make ahead dessert that can be made to your preferences. You could even set up a parfait dessert bar and let your guests build their own. You would need the cheesecake mousse of your choice (recipes below), Greek God’s Chocolate Yogurt and crushed cookies, candies or mini chocolate chips.
To Make Pumpkin Mocha Parfaits:
Layer Greek God’s Chocolate Mocha Yogurt, chopped chocolate cookies and Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse. Repeat layers. Garnish with a chunk of cookie and you’re all set.
To Make Peppermint Mocha Parfaits:
Layer Greek God’s Chocolate Mocha Yogurt, peppermint baking chips and Peppermint Cheesecake Mousse. Repeat layers. Garnish with additional peppermint baking chips. (You could also use crushed peppermint candies or chopped peppermint patties.)
To Make Cheesecake Chocolate Parfaits:
Layer any flavor Greek God’s Chocolate Yogurt, mini chocolate chips and Cheesecake Mousse. Repeat layers. Garnish with additional mini chocolate chips. (You could also use any kind of chopped chocolate cookies or candy in this one.)
Time to make the cheesecake mousse – multiply as needed to feed your crowd!
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE
- ½ cup PUMPKIN PUREE
- ¼ cup GRANULATED SUGAR
- ⅛ teaspoon GROUND CINNAMON
- ½ cup HEAVY CREAM
- GREEK GOD's CHOCOLATE MOCHA YOGURT
- CHOPPED CHOCOLATE COOKIES
- Beat cream cheese until very smooth. Add pumpkin puree, sugar and ground cinnamon. Beat until well combined. Set aside.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into pumpkin mixture.
- In 8 oz. jars or dishes, layer yogurt, chopped cookies and pumpkin cheesecake mixture. Repeat layers. Garnish with a chunk of cookies.
- Refrigerate until serving.
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE
- ¼ cup GRANULATED SUGAR
- ½ teaspoon PEPPERMINT EXTRACT
- ½ cup HEAVY CREAM
- GREEK GOD'S CHOCOLATE YOGURT
- PEPPERMINT BAKING CHIPS*
- Beat cream cheese until very smooth. Add sugar and peppermint extract and beat well. Set aside.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into peppermint mixture.
- In 8 oz. jars or dishes, layer yogurt, peppermint baking chips and peppermint cheesecake mousse. Repeat layers. Garnish with additional peppermint baking chips.
- Refrigerate until serving.
- 4 oz. CREAM CHEESE
- ¼ cup SUGAR
- 1 teaspoon VANILLA EXTRACT
- GREEK GOD'S CHOCOLATE YOGURT, any flavor
- MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS*
- Beat cream cheese until very smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Beat again until well combined.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into cheesecake mixture.
- In 8 oz. jars or dishes, layer yogurt, mini chocolate chips and cheesecake mixture. Repeat layers. Garnish as desired.
- Refrigerate until serving.
