So, my bro-in-law, Ben, would do just about anything for a stack of Oreo cookies and a cold glass of milk.
He’s also teaching his son, Jonah, that milk’s favorite cookie is one of the best things…ever. I have to agree that there are few things like the iconic white cream sandwiched between two chocolate wafers, I’ll take mine double stuffed please.
I’m about to be Ben’s favorite sis-in-law today…I took his favorite cookie and added it to breakfast. Smiles all around, no matter what the occasion is. A baked chocolate donut taken up a notch by adding chopped oreos, topped with creamy cream cheese icing and more chopped oreos. Definitely don’t forget the milk!

I bought a donut pan last Friday. Yesterday I made my first attempt at baking donuts and it was a hit. I didn’t have buttermilk so I used Greek Yogurt and it worked fine.
Can’t wait to try this recipe.

Yum, I bet the Oreos add the perfect flavor! I just ordered donut pans on Amazon and they should be here between Friday and next Tuesday, I can’t wait for them to arrive so I can make some donuts, I also pinned your chocolate donuts with raspberry cream frosting and can’t wait to make those too!

Thank you so much for linking this to Must Try Monday. So, I want to get a donut pan, and maybe this is my excuse. Strange as it seems, I’m not a huge Oreos fan….un American, I know. But, I think I would like these donuts for sure.

Hi,
My son loves cookies and cream anything. My new obsession is making baked donuts. I loved your recipe, had one problem. My batter was so thick that I couldnt mix it. I added some half and half to the batter to thin it out. It worked out much better, maybe to much buttermilk. Did anyone else have that problem. Just took them out of the oven, cant wait to try, Thanks for the recipe.
Becca@CrumbsandChaos says
It is a thick batter. I’m sorry that you had trouble working with it. I hope they turned out just as delicious with your slight adaptation. Thanks, Debbie!
